Apulia Gargano Peschici: the beaches.

The wonderful territory of Peschici has 12 beaches, some of them little bays and some big beaches. We show you their characteristics starting from north going to south in direction of  Vieste.

The hidden Ialillo beach of sand and little gravel

We start with the Ialillo beach, the final stretch of the Peschici beach. It offers more privacy and it’s less faced to the winds, hidden behind a rock, easily reachable by feet on a path connecting it directly to the Peschici beach.

San Nicola

South from Peschici the beautiful beach of San Nicola with view to the Trabucco (wooden fishing construction on the rocks), of finest golden sand with organized baths and seafront restaurants. Reachable by car with parking relatively near to the beach.

Zaiana

Absolutely to mention the Zaiana beach, framed by two rocks with pleasant privacy, of finest sand with slowly declining sea, as all the beaches and bays of the garganic coast.

Manaccora beach

The beach of  Manaccora with the famous Grottone di Manaccora (Cave of Manaccora), dating back to the XVII century a.c., today completely accessible; it is an emblematic example of our important history. The namesake beach is nearly completly organized with baths of the touristic structures located behind it. A very  lively and busy beach, easily reachable.

Calalunga

Certainly one of the most beautiful and exclusive beaches of the whole coast line between Peschici and Vieste is the Calalunga beach, a few chilometres from Peschici, framed by two beautiful rocks, with finest sand and slowly declining sea is very easy and comfortably to reach. It offers private parking nearly on the beach and has a bar, showers, toilets and a really good self service restaurant. Ideal both for couples in search of relax and peace without pestering animation as also  for families with children and youngsters of all ages. An oasis of tranquillity.

Baia delTurco

It is a very small and wild beach, very pleasant. Complitely free.

At the border between Peschici and Vieste

This beach signs the border between Peschici and Vieste, the beach of Manaccore and Sfinale. Very enchanting the Torre di Avvistamento (firetower ) of Sfinale, situated on the rock that determins to one side this beach on the territory of Peschici.
